Issue 002 - Static
OK - my sincere apologies for this very tardy episode. As you will hear in the talky parts, this episode was recorded quite a while ago. What held up the works was the fiction. I got slammed at work along with seriously underestimating a statistics class I was taking. Additionally, I got a cold and didn’t have a recording voice for a few weeks.
Excuses aside, here’s Issue Two. I don’t intend to make the next wait as long.
My Solo Sidekick for this episode is Jordan Whiley. Today, he is “Ambidexter.” (“what the…?”)
In This Episode:
- Straight into the gutter.
- Discussions on the music track, or lack therein.
- Jordan/Ambidexter updates his budding film career with Red Cloud Production’s Max VO2 . We discuss the move to digital movie production.
- Kingfish just finished up his directorial debut in a Community Theatre production.
- Kingfish watched a couple of flyovers of the International Space Station
- Comics for kids, like Johnny DC
- Kingfish just discovered Trailer Addict and has been crusing the Instructables site
- Some MetaMediocrity spoilers / tidbits of trivia
-Cliff’s name is Cliff Norman, a total homage to Cheers. I wanted to reinforce the idea that he’s an everyman type of character.
-Cliff will eventually obtain a tranchcoat loaded with pockets, which he will load up with and arsenal of miniaturized objects.
-There’s a prototype MetaMediocrity T-Shirt made. - Kingfish just discovered the Wish List feature on Tivo.
- Kingfish has stumbled into a weekly Warcraft 3 pickup game (we has since moved to Neverwinter Nights)
- Jordan / Ambidexter is addicted to mini Flash games, namely Swords and Sandals.
- Writing - fictional locations versus real world locations.
- Confucious say “Never give your laptop to a teenager with behavior problems.”
- Kingfish say “The new Norton Antivirus is bloatware.” Avoid at all costs.
- Jordan lost serious geek cred by downloading a virus.
- State bureaucracy is goofy.
and finally - MetaMediocrity, Issue 002 - Static
